Meeting with an Elder

Today we hosted dinner for the exchange group and a local elder named Alice Andrews. We asked her many questions and she told us stories of her life, how she learned things, and growing up in Napakiak. She was over joyed to have some of our halibut and salmon, we even brought some smoked octopus up too. I think the other kids really liked our food too. Alice was a really nice treat to talk to and I was happy to meet her.
